If you were alive in the last 20 years or so, you must remember Mr. Bean! The iconic character was cherished by millions, and the genius behind it was talented actor-comedian Rowan Atkinson, who's about to celebrate his 62nd birthday.

Beginning - He's the youngest of four siblings and was raised as an anglican by his parents Eric Atkinson and Ella May in Consett, on the northwest of English county Durham.

The funny one -

Rowan was seen as the class clown during his childhood, but that changed during his teenage years as he became more self-conscious and shy.

Stutter - The actor has a slight stuttering problem, especially noticeable when he uses the letter B - hence why his most famous character fails to say his own name properly!

Education - Rowan studied electrical engineering at Newcastle University and earned a masters in the same area at Oxford University.

Original name -

Mr. Bean's original name was supposed to be Mr. White, but then he changed it to Mr. Cauliflower, and eventually settled for Mr. Bean.

The end of Bean - In 2007, the actor revealed that after the release of 'Mr. Bean's Holiday,' he wouldn't be playing the iconic role anymore because he felt like he was too old for the part.

Johnny English -

The popular Johnny English was based on a character he played for a Barclaycard commercial.
