The Toronto Raptors are killing it on the court lately, and in the celebrity fan department as well.
The Raptors’ February 26 home game against the Detroit Pistons (the Raptors won 123 to 94) had some special guests in the stands: rapper Kardinal Offishall, retired Olympic sprinter Donovan Bailey, ‘Dragon’ Arlene Dickinson, and actor Vinay Virmani.
“Hangin’ out with the fellas,” tweeted Dickinson, along with a photo of the group, which also included Jim Williams, president and CEO of Williams Telecommunications.Hangin’ out with the fellas. #WeTheNorth #Raptors @KardinalO @Vinayvirmani24 @donovanbailey ???????????? pic.twitter.com/0dQDNFqRZq

“Great friends, great win,” tweeted Bailey.

Kardinal signalled the moment on Instagram.
“A little court-side h’action at the @raptors game with some CANADIAN legends last night,” he wrote. “Needless to say, we won by about 30 points, we taught Arlene what ‘Turnt Up’ means (she ironically knew what lit meant) and got some jumbotron action without having to kiss anyone I was sitting beside”.
#WeTheNorth, indeed. Canada’s team certainly has quite the fanclub.
