The world was rocked by the tragic news of Steve Irwin's death while filming a documentary in 2006. The iconic Australian conservationist and television personality died at the early age of 44 when a stingray barb pierced his heart. Though Irwin was often doing dangerous stunts, did he predict his death down to the week?
During the premiere of Anh Doh's new series, 'Anh’s Brush with Fame,' Terri Irwin opened up about her husband's premonitions of his early death. “You know he never thought he would have a long life. He just always kind of had this sense that his life would be cut short,” she said.
Terri explained how Steve had even planned on cutting his documentary short. “I remember him saying to me, ‘I don’t think I am going to film anymore, I think I am just going to spend time with my kids,’” she said.
Since her husband's passing, Terri has dedicated her life to living out Steve's legacy and continuing the conservation work at Australia Zoo. You can watch the full episode of 'Anh’s Brush with Fame' here.
