Sources close to the star say it's because she is trying to be seen as the businesswoman she has built herself up to be. As the recent cover star of Forbes Magazine's latest issue, Jenner is putting her most professional face forward.

"Even with all the success she has had and the fact that Forbes talked about her fast track to being a billionaire, Kylie still feels she is not taken as seriously as she would like to be,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She wants to be considered more real to her fans and detractors. She wants to be approachable and business-like. Going with a more natural look is something she is trying so that she is considered as a more serious person.”

Regardless of what commentators may have previously thought, it is clear that Jenner's fame isn't purely resting on her fake lips.
