CELEBRITY British royal family

It can't be easy growing up under the extreme pressure of being in the British royal family. While Princess Charlotte and Prince George are still young children, they will soon have to adhere to the strict protocols of the crown.

When it comes to public engagements, the royal siblings will have to understand the proper etiquette, especially when it comes to addressing their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

A royal historian and author Marlene Eilers Koening explained that Princess Charlotte and Prince George are quickly having to learn the proper ways and times to bow and curtsy, according to News.au. Koening mentioned that the two have to be professional, “Certainly by age five,” she said. “The only person they will curtsy or bow to is the sovereign. A royal highness does not curtsy to another royal highness."

Another royal rule is that it is improper to go to bed before the Queen does. While the children are still young it may not apply just yet, however with age and more responsibility, Princess Charlotte and Prince George will learn to have later bedtime.
