The hype for the forthcoming film 'A Star Is Born' starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga is at an all-time high. What looks to be a beautiful combination of live bluegrass music, a tortured love story, and a turbulent rise to fame, audiences are anxiously awaiting the film's debut.

While we may have to wait till October 5 for the full show, Cooper was a guest on 'Conan' to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at how 'A Star Is Born' came to be.

Discussing his friendship with Lady Gaga, Cooper revealed how the two initially bonded over a love of food and a passion for music. “She said, ‘Are you hungry?’ I said, ‘Yeah,’” he shared, before joking, “I was burping and my stomach was growling.”

“We went to the kitchen and she said, ‘Look in my fridge’ and she had all this pasta that she had made the night before,” Cooper continued. “She heated it up and I was eating it with her. It was insane. She made me feel so comfortable.”

Pretty much everything Lady Gaga touches is amazing, so her leftover pasta must be to die for too. 

“The next thing I know after I’m eating pasta, we’re singing in her living room,” Cooper explained. “It was crazy and she said, ‘Has anyone ever heard you sing before?’ I said, ‘No’ and she said, ‘Well let’s record it.’ So I recorded it on my phone and that was actually one of the first things when I was trying to pitch this movie to Warner Brothers, I showed them that video.”
