Ever wonder how Queen Elizabeth II manages to wave to her adoring public for hours on end? Well, she may have some help from a fake hand-waving machine.
In an interview with People magazine, Princess Anne, the Queen's daughter, revealed that when visiting Australia, a group of students gifted the royal the fake hand as a joke, but it actually comes in handy! “They gave her a stuffed glove on a wooden lever so that you could tweak the end of the lever and this hand went to and fro. I think they thought it was rather cheeky but Her Majesty was thrilled,” Princess Anne said.
If you thought being the Queen of England was just a walk in the garden, think again! The royal spends hours upon hours at public engagements, international meetings, and charitable functions. She is expected to give her signature wave at all times, and that can get rather tiring! Enter, fake hand-waving machine. A must for all of the British royal family.
Do you think Meghan Markle has one too?
