Channing Tatum lost his cool when he met Matt Damon for the first time. The 'Magic Mike' star told People that the incident happened while filming the 2011 Steven Soderbergh film 'Haywire,' when he found himself at a hotel bar with Damon and, he explained, "I'm just beside myself. I'm such a fan, and still am. I sat down next to him, and I was like, 'Hey, man. Where are you from?'—and I was like 'I just asked Matt Damon where he's from.'"

"Everyone on the planet knows where Matt Damon is from, and he obviously knows that I know where Matt Damon is from, and I almost didn't recover," Tatum continued. "I don't think I said anything for the next maybe two hours or so, and I still think about it today. Every once in a while, I'll just have a cold sweat and feel like, I can't believe...." The star added that he tends to "panic when I talk to people," which explains "why I don't really like to meet famous people or meet the people that I admire or even like their work." Luckily Damon simply answered that he was from Boston.

Adele and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson -

Trevor Noah did his homework as host of the 2023 Grammys, and in a room full of stars he was able to create an adorable starstruck moment. The comedian picked over artists like Harry Styles and Lizzo before he honed in on Adele, whom he knew had previously publicly commented about never having met Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson face-to-face. At first, Noah made it appear like Johnson wasn't present, but then the wrestler-turned-actor came out and caught Adele by surprise. They had a sweet hug, and later Johnson even presented Adele with her award for Best Pop Solo Performance for 'Easy On Me,' thoroughly making her dreams come true.

Jane Fonda and Tom Brady -

Jane Fonda has such an immense legacy that you'd think she would never get nervous, but the actress revealed on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film '80 for Brady' on January 6 that she was left "completely starstruck" when she first met NFL superstar Tom Brady, People reports. The actress said of the athlete 40 years her junior, "He was kind and humble, which is hard to believe considering how brilliant he is at what he does, but it's true. He was also sweet and polite."

"My knees actually got weak when he walked into my trailer. I'm in awe of that kind of skill," she continued. "When somebody is the best in the world at what they do, you have to honor that and respect it." Fonda co-stars alongside Sally Field, Rita Moreno, and Lily Tomlin in the film about four octogenarian NFL fans who are on a mission to get to Houston for 2017's Super Bowl LI, the year quarterback Brady (who now plays for Tampa Bay) led the New England Patriots to a victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Brady appears in the film as himself and serves as a producer on the film.

Sophie Turner and Kendall Jenner -

The former 'Game of Thrones' actress admitted to Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show' on May 6 that she turned down Kendall Jenner’s 2022 Met Gala afterparty invitation because she is too big a fan of the model and her family's reality TV show.

"But I think she’s, like, so gorgeous in real life, and I was so struck by her beauty, and she invited me to … this low-key afterparty,” Turner explained. “She went, like, ‘Do you want to come?’ And I just went, ‘No, no, I don’t.’ And I’m like, ‘Why? Why do I so this to myself?’” 

Instead, Turner, who is pregnant with her and Joe Jonas's second child, said she went home and ate pasta in bed. "I was like, ‘Could be somewhere else right now, but I’m not.'"

But it's not just the Kardashian-Jenner clan that makes Turner starstruck. Apparently she's “really bad” around all celebrities. “I can’t quite fathom that I’m actually invited to these things and I’m not, like, a competition winner, you know? So, I mean, every celebrity I come into contact with, I act up or say something stupid,” Turner told Fallon. “And recently, if a celebrity interacts with me, I immediately shut them down and I’m like, ‘I don’t want anything to do with you.’ And secretly I’m like, ‘Oh, my God!’”

The Met Gala is a hotbed for celebrity crossover stories every year, but one of the best from 2022 was Leonardo DiCaprio's introduction to the young 'Euphoria' star, Jacob Elordi. The moment was captured on video by a TikTok user who was freaking out over two of their idols coming together! DiCaprio approached Elordi and shook his hand, telling him he was a huge fan of 'Euphoria.' He's heard saying "the show's amazing" in the video. This isn't the first time DiCaprio has expressed his love for the hit HBO series. The Oscar-winning actor has been an avid fan since 2019.

Jennifer Garner and Donny Osmond -

Jennifer Garner is one of Hollywood's most famous actresses, but even she has her own celebrity crushes, the biggest of whom surprised her for her 50th birthday: Donny Osmond. The actress shared a video on Instagram in which she watched a video of the former teen idol, now in his 60s, singing to her for her special day on a phone. Then suddenly, to Garner’s complete shock, Osmond came up behind her to finish the tune. They hugged, Garner's forehead vein plump with excitement, and the 'Puppy Love' singer gave her a cake that read, "13 going on 50." They even went on to sing a duet!  “My first (pre)birthday surprise was a doozy—the one and only, legend in his own time, object of my childhood adoration and devotion— @donnyosmond showed up to knock my purple socks off,” she captioned the video. "He took an hour and a half of his day to sit with me, sing my favorites, and to give me a master class on how to be a class act. Thank you, Donny."

'The Daily Show' host Trevor Noah has met countless celebrities through his job but that doesn't stop him from losing his cool when faced with certain stars! Noah had the opportunity to meet the band BTS at the Grammys and it sounds like it was almost a religious experience for the comedian. When talking about the experience afterward, Noah said "You know, they say sometimes when you experience too much joy in a moment, you sort of black it out." Although he may not remember his entire interaction with the young stars, he went on to praise them for their unwavering kindness, professionalism, and talent. Noah looked absolutely over the moon sitting amongst K-pop royalty at the Grammys!

In 2021, Andrew Garfield made it clear how much he loved 'Cobra Kai,' which stars the original 'Karate Kid' actors Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. ET then showed Garfield video messages from the cast and he freaked out. "Come on! Oh my God. No, I can’t handle it!” he said laughing. “You didn’t prepare me. I was like, ‘What are we doing?’ and then you do that, and you have William Zabka and Ralph Macchio and I’m like, ‘Oh no, they know I exist!'” He continued, “It’s Christmas. It feels like Christmas in my body. My body feels like Christmas! Forget season 4 — that’s gonna keep me going for years,” he added. “Thank you. I’m very, very moved and touched by that. Gosh. Life can be okay sometimes. Life can be really nice.”

Rachel Zegler propelled to fame in Steven Spielberg's 'West Side Story,' which made her fangirl moment in Variety's 'Actors on Actors' interview with Andrew Garfield even sweeter. The 'Tick, Tick...Boom!' actor was gushing over Zegler's "stunning and soulful and authentic and genuine" performance, and he told her, "I am absolutely just weirdly proud of someone that I've never met." Zegler looked flabbergasted. "I cannot even believe those words just came out of your face towards my face...what? What is going on?" she said. Ben Affleck is an A-lister, but that didn't stop him from getting completely starstruck about one of his co-stars from his new film 'The Tender Bar.' Speaking to Daily Pop on December 20, 2021, Affleck confessed that working with Christopher Lloyd was "very intimidating," even as an Oscar-winner. "He's Doc from Back to the Future!" Affleck exclaimed. "He showed up to the table read and I had that pang of being starstruck, of seeing this guy emerge from off the screen. Particularly the movies you see as a young person can make such a big impression on you." It turns out the impression was gigantic, as Affleck admitted, "I tried to ask him for his autograph, but I couldn't get the courage."

Kelly Clarkson is coming face to face with more celebrities than ever thanks to her talk show, 'The Kelly Clarkson Show.' She interviewed Sandra Bullock and totally lost her cool! Clarkson managed to play it cool at the start, but when Bullock complimented her singing career, she couldn't believe it. "I'm nervous! I'm sweating!" Kelly told her guest. "You're Sandra Bullock!
