FASHION Sunglasses

After years of not being able to find sunglasses that fit correctly, two Asian-American designers, Athina Wang and Florence Shin, started designing sunglasses with a variety of styles and sizes for a diverse market.

Their company, Covry, boasts a new standard for glasses, "Elevated Fit eyewear that actually fits." With styles for men and women alike, Covry is bringing fashion for everyone—in the chicest way.

"Growing up in America, it was very hard to find sunglasses that fit us, and at the time we kind of just thought that was just how things were," Wang told Bustle.

It wasn't until she was shopping in Asia that Wang realized it would only take minor adjustments to make frames that fit all faces.

"Since [Asian] nose bridges aren’t [as prominent], we need an extra boost from the frames, so we made those pads bigger," Wang explained to Bustle. "The lens curve on standard frames slant inwards towards your cheeks. The angles are very severe going straight into your cheeks, so we made the angles much straighter, going straight down instead of into your cheeks."

Wang and Shin are entrepreneurs with a mission and (now) clear vision. Check out their eyewear for all, here.
