Kanye West’s clothing brand, Yeezy Apparel, has been hit with a lawsuit for copying camouflage designs. Jordan Outdoor Enterprises claim Yeezy took ideas from their Realtree line. NME reports that the claim cites “distinctive markings” which feature on Yeezy’s clothes. Jordan Outdoor Enterprises also alleges that Yeezy had previously contacted the brand to use the designs. The brand hopes to sue both Yeezy Apparel and collaborative brand Unkwn. The brands created camo-printed hoodies, shirts, bomber jackets and thigh-high boots. The clothes have been modelled by Kim Kardashian in the past. TMZ has reported examples of the similarities between the designs.
Meanwhile, West seems to be hard at work on his new album. The rapper was spotted out in the mountains of Wyoming with a range of star collaborators. As Hypebeast reports, Drake, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi and Nas are all working on the record. Producers Pi’erre Bourne, Jeff Bhasker and Wheezy are also rumoured to be in the studio.
