Jaden Smith has been at the forefront of environmental causes as of late. From his sustainable water bottle brand to his vocal turn towards a vegetarian diet, Smith is making headlines for more than just his music.

Now, in collaboration with the retail brand G-Star Raw, Smith will be the face of a new sustainable denim line. The company is best-known for their famous "Head of Imagination," Pharell Williams.

"The reason I partnered with G-Star is because we share the same values. We are both constantly innovating and committing to sustainability," Smith said in a promotional video for the line. "They have the first pair of jeans made with no water wasted; Cleanest indigo ever, 100% organic cotton," he said.

Smith goes on to explain that as the new generation grows up to take on the environmental repercussions that the world is facing, education and creation will have to come together to make sustainable products.

"It's really important for me to raise awareness in this type of way because things are changing in the world and we need to change with it for the better," Smith said.

Jaden Smith + G-Star Raw will be available fall 2018.
