Technology - In phototherapy (light therapy), lasers are used to combat acne and skin impurities, but it's known for being a painful treatment. Vacuum therapy may also be a good option, but beware that both are fairly expensive treatments.

Home remedies - There are many homemade skin masks that can help fight acne. These may include tomato sauce, honey and cinnamon, garlic, and even potatoes. These are not guaranteed to work always, so make sure you look up which ingredients work best for your skin type for maximum efficiency.

Antibiotics - Antibiotics help reduce infections and kill skin bacteria. These can only be bought with a prescription and can be applied directly on the skin or taken orally. According to Healthline, oral antibiotics are usually only recommended as a last resort.
