Countries with the highest (and lowest) trust in their politicians
Some countries believe their politicians are on their side while others... not so much
Voters around the world cast their votes in a myriad of elections to voice their democratic right to choose their representatives. But do elected figures fulfill that obligation? That depends on the country. For its latest report, the World Economic Forum polled citizens from 137 countries on how they rate the ethical standards of their politicians on a scale from 1 to 7, in which 1 is extremely low and 7 is extremely high. This means that citizens from countries whose score is closer to 7 have higher trust in their elected politicians.
