Ink art: beautiful portraits of people and their tattoos - Researchers recently discovered two 5,000-year-old Egyptian mummies adorned with tattoos. The male had a Barbary sheep on his upper arm and the female had S-shaped motifs on her upper arm and shoulder, proving that tattoos have long been a part of human history. Tattoos can take on different meanings, from deeply personal to purely artistic.
