Ixodes holocyclus - Parasitic ticks are very small, with adults reaching 4-5mm, but powerful. When they latch on, they release an anticoagulant that may be toxic to animals and humans.

Nausea - Some symptoms of their bite include escalating pain, nausea, vomiting, headaches, abdominal or chest pain, generalised sweating and increased blood pressure.

Badumna insignis - Black house spiders, also known as window spider, are found in southern and eastern Australia. They are timid and bite infrequently.

Loxosceles reclusa - Recluse spiders also go by the names fiddle-backs, violin spiders, and reapers. Terrifyingly, they don't die with insecticides, instead, they become more erratic.

Necrotic arachnidism - These spiders are well-known for the non-fatal, haemotoxic bites. The skin becomes damaged and slow to heal, and on rare occasions, venom can enter the bloodstream, destroying red blood cells.
