It’s been a long two years since One Direction went on indefinite hiatus. Zayn split off, leading the charge for all five members to start solo careers. Now, fans of One Direction are shaking with fear after the band’s website was updated. It seems as though the boy group’s online store has been taken down. The discovery was made by a fan account, in a tweet with thousands of reactions and replies.

The message on the website reads “Sorry, this store is no longer available”. This has sparked theories that the days of One Direction are well and truly over. DJ Nick Grimshaw also sparked similar rumours earlier this year, when he played ‘Drag Me Down’ on his Radio 1 show. “When we started this show they were all together as a five piece”, the DJ said “Do you think they'll ever get back together? No, not a chance. It's not happening, is it?”. It may have been a passing comment, but 1D fans took his word as gospel.
I feel personally attacked if Grimmy said the one direction are never getting back together pic.twitter.com/H9hSBjbsD3

One Direction will never “come back” because they never split for real. Did y’all forget Louis saying “promise”, Liam saying many times they just got a pause, Niall saying he’s ready to work with the boys again whenever they’re ready, Harry saying there’s always a chance?I didn’t

Now, it seems like this website update may confirm that it’s officially all over for One Direction. Yet you never know, they said the same for Take That, remember? Stay tuned for all the latest celebrity news.
