Asking for things during takeoff - For cabin crew, takeoff is the most stressful part of the job, as they need to ensure that they are following safety and security measures. Don't make their job harder by asking for water during takeoff.

Not greeting the team - It doesn't hurt to say hello to the people who are ready to help you in any circumstance.

Overcrowding the luggage compartments - Tidying luggage is a nightmare. Always put the bigger bags in the compartment above you and the small ones under the seat in front of you.

Asking what is available - The menu, which shows all the available items, is literally right in front of you.

Not being responsible for your luggage - Don't bring a bag that you can't lift. Crew members hate when it is up to them to put luggage in the compartments.

Not specifying how you want your coffee - When asking for a coffee, make sure you explain exactly how you want it.

Not paying attention to the security instructions - Be respectful towards the flight attendants and pay attention to the safety instructions. In an emergency, they'll actually be useful.

Being sneaky - Try as much as you want, but it'll be hard to get that lucky seat in business class.

Going to the toilet during landing - Don't make it more difficult for cabin crew to prepare for landing by getting in their way going to the toilet. Using the toilet during landing is also a safety risk because the aircraft is unsteady.

Using the window as a footrest - Or the front seat, the aisle, in between seats... it's just rude.

Taking it out on the team - It is pointless to get mad at the cabin crew because the flight is late and you missed an important meeting. It's not their fault.

Calling for an attendant needlessly - When the pilot instructs everyone to be seated and with their seatbelt fastened, it includes the flight staff. So wait until they are allowed to move before pressing a button.

Keeping your earphones on - You have every right to wear your earphones at all times during the flight. But it is rude to keep them in when a crew member is talking to you.

Getting up when you're told not to - The fasten seat belts sign is on for the safety of the passengers.

Complaining about the food - You are not in a five-star restaurant. If you want good food, reserve it ahead of time.

Wrong timing - Trying to give cabin crew trash when the food is still being distributed seriously annoys them. They'll have to collect it later, so be patient.

Inappropriate touching - Never make physical contact with flight attendants to catch their attention. Besides being rude, it is assault.

Going barefoot - Would you go barefoot to the bathroom at a restaurant? Probably not.

Getting drunk - It is extremely annoying for the crew members who have to look after the drunk person.

Snapping your fingers - Waving or snapping your fingers is so disrespectful! Be polite and consider using the name tag each crew member wears.

Doing yoga - Avoid using the aisle to stretch out as if you were in a yoga class. Space is already tight!

Asking for things only the pilot can change - According to flight attendants, the crew has much less control than the pilot. A change in route or even cabin temperature isn't up to them, for safety reasons.

Doing your nails - It is more common than you can imagine. Besides being inappropriate, it is also kind of gross. Someone will have to clean up your nail clippings.

Trying to get freebies - There's always that annoying person who'll try to get something free because the flight was delayed.

Watching porn - Good old common sense applies here. It is inconvenient for other people, especially if there are children onboard.
