TRAVEL San Francisco

It is no secret that San Francisco is one of the most (if not the most) expensive cities in the country. With hotel prices that are ridiculously high and even the cheapest food still being quite costly, visiting the Bay Area can be kind of daunting. However, with this list of free activities, traveling to San Francisco just got cheaper!

1. Explore Lands End
The best way to see the best of the city without breaking the bank is to explore its natural offerings. Lands End is a coastal hiking trail that ends with a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge and a rock labyrinth.

2. Say hi to the Sea Lions at Pier 39
Who needs to pay for the zoo when you can see animals basking in their natural habitat along the Embarcadero?

3. Swing Dancing at Lindy in the Park
Head to Golden Gate Park to get your groove on. Every Sunday there is a huge group of people swing dancing throughout the day. Not sure of the steps? From 12 to 12:30 pm there are free lessons.

4. Play disc golf on Marx Meadows
Print out your own scorecard here and play 18 rounds! When the sun is shining it's the perfect time to get out there and try a new sport.
