TV Queer eye
The Netflix reboot of 'Queer Eye' brought life-changing makeovers to some of the most unlikely subjects. A team of five fabulous gay men, all with individual makeover specialties, took on the state of Georgia with the best intentions and a lot of hair product. While the series depicts wonderful interactions between men of all backgrounds and sexualities, some believe the makeover show could use a little revamping as well. According to Mic.com, here are a few changes that audiences would like to see in 'Queer Eye' season two.
1. Include non-male contestants
While the original Bravo series 'Queer Eye for a Straight Guy' was all about tolerance between straight and gay men, the reboot has expanded to help gay men as well. Audiences are hoping that season two will bring women, transgender, or gender-fluid contestants.
2. Give Bobby more time to show the design process
A lot of the first season focused more on emotional transformations rather than the home remodeling. Bobby Berk, the head of interior design, miraculously transforms disgusting dwellings into hip palaces with little camera time to show it. Audiences are hoping season two will give Bobby his 15 minutes.
3. If the guys are mad, let them be mad
Was anyone else surprised with how calm the whole series was? Perhaps it is just the reality TV era numbing audiences to on-screen drama, but many felt the series glanced over much of the tension that took place between characters.
4. Make the episodes a tad longer
We want more 'Queer Eye'! At the end of every episode, audiences were left with a longing feeling. Give us more makeover looks, further contestant development, and a prolonged reveal at the end. The people want what the people want.
5. Updates on the contestants from season one
After getting emotionally attached to the original contestants, the series needs to give audiences a follow-up on how they are doing now.
Hopefully these opinions are taken into consideration for season two!
