Toronto-born singer Kaya Jones is calling out Hollywood Democrats over their alleged racism and sexism.
Jones, a former member of The Pussycat Dolls and one of the higher profile Republican celebrities out there, made a series of comments on the issue via Twitter.
The tweet that started it all came on February 26:
“The most racist and sexist individuals are the democrats in Hollywood. Women can’t be anything but dress wearing sluts and [minorities] can’t be anything but slaves, crazies, uneducated and drug addicts apparently. Well wake up! We aren’t defined by our gender or our skin tone!”
She continued:
“Stop making films/TV where natives are seen as crazy Indians, blacks are drug dealers or slaves, Mexicans are gardeners or drug lords [and] Whites are either plantation owners or hillbillies! Maybe America [wouldn't] have racism. You Hollywood is who fan the flame of hatred in this nation”.
Jones then shared an old photo of her family, which included her black grandfather.
Jones finished her rant by doubling down on her statements.
