CELEBRITY OJ Simpson
Widely considered the best poker player around, Canadian Daniel Negreanu makes his home in Las Vegas. So does OJ Simpson, making a spotting inevitable. But at a hockey game of all places?
“Yes. That is OJ Simpson sitting right in front of me,” tweeted Negreanu on February 27.
Negreanu, who is a big fan of new NHL team the Vegas Golden Knights, was at a home game when he spotted the notorious American celebrity. To his credit, the poker play didn’t make any snide remarks, but his more than 450,000 followers sure did.
And because it’s OJ Simpson and he always makes the news, Negreanu was asked by TMZ and news outlets alike for permission to use his photo.
Negreanu was born and raised in Toronto. He has won six World Series of Poker bracelets and two World Poker Tour championships.
