Stars react to season 3 renewal for ‘Kim’s Convenience’
The CBC show just won the CSA for best comedy series
A day after it won the Canadian Screen Award (CSA) for best comedy series, CBC’s ‘Kim’s Convenience’ has been renewed for a third season. Its stars have already reacted.
Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, who won the CSA for best lead actor in a comedy, broke the news in a video on the ‘Kim’s Convenience’ Twitter page along with his other castmates.
Andrew Phung, who won the CSA for best supporting actor in a comedy, quickly followed up with a tweet of his own. “Season 3 Baby!!!!!!!!! This week has been unreal and sharing this news just seems like the perfect thing to do.”
Jean Yoon’s excitement had her writing in all caps: “FINALLY! YES, WE ARE RENEWED AND READY FOR SEASON THREE!!!”
“SEA. SON. THREE!!!! Not that you didn’t already know deep down inside,” tweeted Simu Liu.
“Season 3, we’re comin for ya,” said Andrea Bang.
