An Israeli company has stepped up with what may be the latest bartending trend. Ripples is the company behind the 3D printer that designs coffee art. Now, it is introducing Beer Ripples. The device is being sold to bars in America, Canada, and Israel. The machine only takes 11 seconds to adorn a beer’s head with an image made from malt-based ink. There are pre-loaded designs, as well as the option to upload your own design with the Ripples app.
A spokesperson talked to Munchies to elaborate on the interesting invention. “We currently don’t know of any other companies with the same technology or printing capability as Beer Ripples”, they said. They also explained that craft chain World of Beer has “select locations rolling out Beer Ripples over the coming months”. So latte art is a trend gone by, beer art is the latest craze.
