Jim Carrey creates pointed art piece about Mark Zuckerberg
About the social media mogul testifying to Congress
CELEBRITY Jim carrey
Jim Carrey, the iconic actor turned artist and political commentator, has created another rendition of Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg.
Depicting him as Marvin the Martian, Carrey wrote, "Congress gets a visit from planet Zuckerberg. 'I shall prevent any further election meddling by destroying the Earth with my Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator App! The sudden drop in Facebook’s stock has made me angry! VERY ANGRY INDEED!!!'”
Carrey has been a longtime critic of the social media mogul. When news broke of possible interference with the 2016 election, the artist declared he was dumping his stock in the company, deleting his personal page, and encouraging everyone to #unfriendfacebook.
Followers of Carrey have seen his wide variety of political cartoons and celebrity illustrations intensify throughout the last two years.
