CELEBRITY Australian royalty
The Order of Australia's Knights and Dames are a somewhat archaic royal title, supposedly awarded for chivalry.
The honourary titles were discontinued in 1986 by then-Prime Minister Bob Hawke, revived in 2014 by royal genius, then-Prime Minister Tony Abbott, and again discontinued in 2015 by current Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in 2015.
