Penguin Books has announced three LGBTQ+ events in London, Brighton, and Manchester this summer. Featuring readings from LGBTQ+ authors, new literary talent, spoken word performances, and musical performances, the events are part of the second year of Penguin Pride.
The publishing house has partnered with Gay Times and The Albert Kennedy Trust to celebrate and encourage diversity and inclusion, and to highlight the importance of LGBTQ+ literature.
The Brighton event takes place on Wednesday, 25 July and is also hosted by Campion. The line-up features writers Bernard, Dizraeli, and Todd, as well as trans campaigner Fox Fisher.
The Manchester event is on Thursday 23, August at Z-Arts. Writers on the bill include Paul Flynn and Kirsty Logan.
