Roseanne Barr took to Twitter to finally explain the motivation behind the racist tweet that got her show canceled from ABC.
The actor and comedian explained that, "Rod Serling wrote Planet of The Apes. It was about anti-semitism. That is what my tweet referred to-the anti semitism of the Iran deal. Low IQ ppl can think whatever they want."
The original tweet that has since been deleted, said, “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj.” The tweet was directed at former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett.
This is the first time that Barr has made the connection between the tweet and anti-semitism. The actor originally stated that the controversial tweet was due to her taking the sleeping medication Ambien.
