YouTube Music: a streaming service to rival Spotify?
The next platform for playlists
MUSIC Youtube
These days, Spotify and Apple Music pretty much have a firm hold on streaming audiences. While YouTube has always been a leader in online media, it has yet to make a name for itself in the streaming world—until now.
The platform released an intro for their new service, writing, "Introducing YouTube Music, a new music streaming service with the magic of YouTube to bring it all to life. The official audio, official video, playlists and artist stations. Plus, the rest of the story you can’t find anywhere else: live performances, remixes and covers."
Similar to other services, YouTube Music will have a free option with advertisements or a premium option without, which will go for $11.99 per month. Check out the full promotion for YouTube Music here. What will you listen to?
