'Modern Family' actor Jackson Odell's cause of death is revealed

Jackson Odell, who is known for his appearances on hit sitcoms 'Modern Family' and 'The Goldburgs' has died of an accidental drug overdose. The star was staying at a sober living facility when he suffered from “acute heroin and cocaine toxicity,” according to Fox News.
The 20-year-old actor was found unresponsive on June 8, but the exact cause of Odell's death has just recently been confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner report.
Odell has been in the entertainment industry since he was 12 years old. He played the recurring role of Ari Caldwell on the ABC series “The Goldbergs,” in addition to appearances on 'Modern Family' and 'iCarly.' The star also had a successful music career, Odell wrote several songs that are featured on the soundtrack for the 2018 film 'Forever Your Girl.'
