Thousands of migrants from Central America are currently trudging north towards the US-Mexico border, a caravan of humanity fleeing poverty and violence in their own countries for a better life in the United States. Along the way, over 5,000 people are having to deal with hunger, dehydration, and the unwanted attention of criminal gangs.
It's a modern-day exodus of near-Biblical proportions, but the end of their journey in no way guarantees a warm welcome.
