If you love a good comedy, there's a big chance you've laughed at a Pegg and Frost joke. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are a comedy duo unlike any other, who work as a trio with filmmaker Edgar Wright. They started out with 'Spaced,' a surreal sitcom from the '90s. Since then, they've gone on to produce hit films like 'Shaun of the Dead,' 'Hot Fuzz,' and 'The World's End.'

With word of a 'Hot Fuzz' sequel on the horizon, here's a guide to Pegg and Frost's work, and their collaborations with Edgar Wright.

▲The first official collaboration was between Pegg and Wright on comedy series 'Asylum.'
▲Edgar Wright created the series, which starred Simon Pegg and Julian Barratt (pictured).
▲The show sparked a creative streak which started with 'Spaced.'
▲'Spaced' was created by Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson. Edgar Wright directed the show, while Nick Frost co-starred.
▲It was a sitcom that centered around Daisy (Stevenson) and Tim (Pegg), as well as their friend, Mike (Frost).
▲Pegg created Frost's character specifically for him, introducing Frost into the Wright-Pegg creative partnership.
▲'Spaced' was a success, and it led to the creation of 'Shaun of the Dead,' a "romantic zombie comedy" film. It was the first of their famed 'Three Flavours Cornetto' trilogy.
▲'Shaun of the Dead' was written by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg. Frost starred alongside Pegg, playing two friends who get caught up in a zombie apocalypse.
▲'Shaun of the Dead' was another success, and it led to a world of opportunity for the three.
▲Per the request of horror icon George A. Romero, Wright and Pegg appeared in his 2005 film 'Land of the Dead.'
▲After 'Shaun of the Dead,' Pegg was reportedly asked if he'd abandon the UK for Hollywood. "Well, I'm not about to go and star in 'Mission: Impossible III'," he apparently replied.
▲Little did Pegg know that he would become a Hollywood star. In 2006, he appeared in 'Mission: Impossible III,' and returned in the following films in the franchise.
▲Pegg has gone on to appear in many hit sci-fi films, like 'Star Trek' (2009), 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' (2015), and 'Ready Player One' (2018).
▲After Pegg broke into Hollywood with 'MI III,' the trio were back to work with 'Hot Fuzz.'
▲The film follows two policemen who battle crime in Sandford, a quiet and unassuming English village.
▲'Hot Fuzz' was another hit film for the trio, grossing millions worldwide and getting rave reviews.
▲Frost and Pegg would later appear in 'The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn,' directed by Steven Spielberg.
▲The duo played Thompson and Thompson, two dopey detectives who seem identical. Wright also co-wrote the hit film.
▲Pegg and Frost did something a little different with 'Paul.' They swapped roles, with Frost taking over as the lead. What's more, Edgar Wright was not involved.
▲The comedy was set in America, and starred Seth Rogen as an alcoholic alien who befriends two sci-fi nerds.
▲The film hit theaters in 2011, to mostly positive reviews and a reasonable gross at the box office.
▲For his part, Edgar Wright has done plenty of work without Pegg and Frost. In 2010, he directed 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,' an action comedy.
▲He also wrote and directed 'Baby Driver,' a thriller comedy that starred Ansel Elgort and Lily James.
▲Wright was also heavily involved in Marvel's 'Ant-Man.' Wright co-wrote the story before stepping down as director.
▲Frost is also a popular actor with plenty of experience away from Wright and Pegg. One of his more famous roles was in 'Snow White and the Huntsman' (2012).
▲The actor also starred in 'Tomb Raider' and 'The Festival' in 2018, along with films like 'Unfinished Business' (2015) and 'Monster Family' (2017).
▲Frost has also led a successful career on the small screen, starring in series like 'Sick Note' and 'Into the Badlands' in 2017-18.
▲But the trio were back together to complete their 'Three Flavours Cornetto' trilogy with 'The World's End' in 2013.
▲The film follows Pegg as Gary King, who persuades his school friends to do a pub crawl in their hometown.
▲Things go west when aliens invade the town, causing hysteria and compromising the all-important pub crawl.
