For a disproportionate amount of our lives, we look at old age with either fear, pity, or complete disregard, when in reality we should be excited to embrace the inevitable process of aging.

Being young has been glamorized to the point of exhaustion, with its budding love, wanderlust, adventure, and doe-eyed wonder. But, in truth, it's a time rife with insecurity, anxiety, societal pressures, and many, many mistakes. Sure, wrinkles and sagging do not exactly fall in line with the "sex sells" ideology, but there are so many parts of getting older that are extremely enticing if you get past the fear of aging.

Hopefully all the work you've put in earlier has carved out a career, and you never again have to overexert yourself to impress the higher-ups. On the other hand, you can still become a big star like one of these actors who didn't make it until later in their lives.

When you reach a certain age in a relationship, you no longer worry about whether every fight will lead to a breakup. If you're dating when you're older, everyone's at least had some relationship experience.
