The 2019 edition of Sportingintelligence’s Global Sports Salaries Survey has just come out, and Messi's team has done it again—Barcelona FC pays the best salaries in the world.
The survey looked at 350 teams, 18 leagues, 12 countries, 8 sports, 10,070 players, and billions in salaries. While the top 10 has three soccer teams (two of them from Spain's La Liga), the NBA dominates the ranking as the richest sports league in the world.
