Timmy from YTV’s ‘Lassie’ is still going strong
Corey Sevier grew into leading man material
CELEBRITY Corey Sevier
He played Timmy Cabot on YTV’s ‘Lassie’ from 1997 to 1999, but at 33-years-old it may be difficult to recognize Corey Sevier today. The years, however, have been good to Sevier and his career—he’s had work every year since ‘Lassie’ ended, and he’s no stranger to playing hunks.
Previous to ‘Lassie,’ Sevier worked on several Canadian projects, including ‘Goosebumps.’ After ‘Lassie,’ he was a regular on several other Canadian shows, such as ‘Little Men,’ ‘Black Sash,’ and ‘2030 CE.’ But it was on the American series ‘North Shore’ that he came to fame south of the border. The show only lasted a season, but Sevier is remembered for playing heartthrob Gabriel McKay.
After ‘North Shore,’ Sevier made several small appearances on various shows and movies, including many Canadian series.
But he found regular work again in 2013-2014 on ‘Cedar Cove’ and in 2015 on ‘Mistresses.’ A quick look at the actor’s IMDB page reveals he’s been working steadily ever since.
