Nelly Furtado has sold millions of records worldwide, but one producer thought she'd be more successful with plastic surgery.
"Cosmetic surgery itself starts to look normal, and we lose track of what a real face is like," she told Health magazine.

According to Douglas, the staff member told her to get rhinoplasty for her nose. She refused to get surgery, and called the comments "very hurtful" in an interview with Vanity Fair.
The 'Glee' star was once told to get a nose job by her former manager. However, she did not take the advice.

If I wanted to be an actress, he said, I’d need to have my proportions ‘fixed,’ and he knew a great doctor in LA he could send me to. My then-manager voiced his agreement with the assessment," says an excerpt in The Independent. Thankfully, Chopra didn't take his advice and soon ditched her manager.

"I’m just like everyone else: I look at myself in the mirror and think maybe I can lose a little weight; I think maybe I can work out a little more. But I’m also content. This is my face. This is my body. I might be flawed, but I am me.”
During an interview with Elle, Emilia Clarke was asked about the worst skincare advice she's ever received. "I once had a facialist who told me I needed filler," the 'Game of Thrones' star recalled. "I just showed her the door. I was literally just like, ‘get out.'" The actress was just 28 at the time! But she still hasn't changed her stance. "At 34, I am wiser, more intelligent, I've had more experiences, I've done all this stuff and I'm proud of that," she said. "Time is the only thing [that] allows you to do those things. So, if my face is gonna reflect the time that I've spent on this earth, I'm down for that."
Before breaking through in the United States, Arden Cho was apparently told to get surgery by South Korean agents.
"I look to women and actors who are older than me who are beautiful and I think what your skin does as you age is elegant," Clarke added.
In December 2020, Lopez told Elle about a time when she was in her early 20s and a man she was dating told her she should start botox at a doctor's appointment, and the doctor started pointing out her lines. Fortunately, she refused, and she added, "I just wonder what would've happened to me if I would've started Botox at 23, what I would look like right now. My face would be a totally different face today."
