In 1998, Chan exploded into stardom with the action comedy 'Rush Hour.' Chan and his co-star, Chris Tucker, went on to perform in a number of sequels in the following years.
In 2003, the actor started a production company called JCE Movies Limited (Jackie Chan Emperor Movies Limited). He released a number of films, including 'Rush Hour 3.'

Chan is a fan of the sport. He said, "Sometimes I support Hong Kong, sometimes England, but from now on, because of my friends I will support Manchester City."
He has injured numerous parts of his body while performing stunts. These include breaking his nose three times, dislocating his pelvis, injuring his cheekbones, fingers, ankle, neck, ribs, and his skull.
In 2016, Jackie Chan was awarded an honorary Oscar for his extraordinary achievements in film.
