When Reynolds received his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 2016, he had some sweet things to say about Lively. "I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there, who is everything to me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me... you make everything better, absolutely everything in my life," Reynolds said. "You've made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun-uncle potential."
In a 2013 interview with The Cut, Lively said that while it’s strange to see herself on other people’s Pinterest boards, seeing shots of her man is actually pretty cool, and she even re-pins them.
In a 2017 Humans of New York post on Instagram, Reynolds talked about how Lively made him more in touch with his empathetic side. He also noted how she helped him deal with the "fractured relationship" he shared with his late father.

However, in the end, the credit goes to him, even after raising the issue. Reynolds has noted that "maybe it’s cause there’s inherent sexism in the business."
Reynolds told GQ that he and Lively were at an empty restaurant in Tribeca when Reynolds asked her to dance. He said he knew halfway through the dance that they had "crossed a line."
On Lively's 30th birthday, the actor shared an Instagram post wishing her a happy one while cropping out Lively's face. For her 32nd birthday, he shared a few unflattering shots.
In November 2021, Reynolds was recognized as an entertainment and entrepreneurship innovator at the 2021 WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards. During his acceptance speech, he thanked his wife, saying, "I want to thank my wife, Blake. She's a genius. She's a renaissance woman. And she pushes me in ways I never imagined I’d be pushed."
Lively returned the favor on Reynolds' birthday, when she posted a photo of a picture of her husband and Ryan Gosling. Most of Reynold's face was cropped out of the picture, and it was captioned, "Happy Birthday, baby."
