In 1998, Barbra Streisand married renowned actor James Brolin. Tying the knot meant that Streisand became the stepmother of James' children from his previous relationships, Josh, Jess, and Molly Brolin. At the same time, it meant that Brolin also became a stepparent to Streisand's son, Jason Gould.
When Moore and Kutcher split in 2011, Kutcher maintained his love for his stepdaughters. "I was helping raise teenage girls through their adolescence. I love them," Kutcher said on Marc Maron's 'WTF' podcast in 2020, according to the Daily Mail. "I'm never going to stop loving them and respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they are pursuing."
Remember when Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were married? Well, when that happened, Kutcher became a stepfather to Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout, Demi's children from her previous marriage to action hero Bruce Willis.
In 2018, when Josh Brolin (James Brolin's son) and his wife, Kathryn Boyd Brolin, were expecting their first child together, the actor talked about how excited Streisand was at welcoming a new stepgrandchild. "We got her a bracelet that says "Grandma" on it, she started crying. She's into it, man, really, really into it. It's great."
Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen and her now ex-husband, football legend Tom Brady, share two children together, Benjamin and Vivian. But before them came Jack, from Brady's previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
The 'Girls Trip' (2017) star went on to stress the importance of including a partner's children from prior relationships in their lives. "I can't support any actions that keep a man from his children of a previous marriage," she wrote. "These are the situations that separate the women from the girls. ... While being interviewed on Good Morning America in 2020, Wilson shared how being a stepfather has changed his life. "Being a stepdad ... has taught me, really, what love is like, what life is really like, [and] how God intends us to love," Wilson said. "One of the greatest gifts in the world is children." The couple announced in August of 2023 that they were expecting another baby.
Kirke revealed to Us Weekly in an interview in 2019 that Badgley has been nothing but an amazing stepfather. “He’s a really good stepdad,” Kirke said. “He doesn’t have to be ‘dad’ so he can have more fun with him. It’s really nice. The stepparent thing is definitely uncharted territory for me ’cause I didn’t grow up with one, but … he takes care of him really well.”

During an interview with 'E! News' in 2017, 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria was asked about the possibility of having children with her husband, businessman José Bastón. Longoria said she wasn't sure if the couple would have children together, as she was currently a hands-on stepmother to Natalia, Mariana, and José, José senior's kids from his previous marriage.
"When [Zeta-Jones] came into our family it could so easily have gone another way.
