Because of her busy life, she used to eat out all the time and just eat ready-made meals at home.
And she did find it a bit embarrassing to have meals delivered to her home three times a week. We wonder if things have changed since then.
Though she does get arepas shipped from Colombia. "I always have them in my refrigerator and when I really want to feed myself I go for them." she said.
But in those lessons she learned how to cut vegetables fast, rather than actual cooking.
"I don't really cook, but I’m a really good taste tester," she admitted to the New York Times.

But Patton remains confident despite her lack of skills in the kitchen. "It's all good because everybody's got their own way of making things," she said in a post the following day. "And I'll take suggestions, I'll make a new kind of fried chicken, but I'm gonna always make my mom's chicken the way she did it. We put the seasoning in the oil and all that. It's just the way we do it."
