"Weird Al" Yankovic did it again. This time with the LA band Red Hot Chili Peppers. He wrote 'Bedrock Anthem,' which was sang in the fashion of the cartoon character Fred Flintstone.
The authors of the underground cartoon were sent cease and desist orders by Cosby's attorneys and the project quickly died.
'Family Guy' mocked the actor (particularly his nose) in the 2012 episode 'Friends Without Benefits.'
According to 'Family Guy' creator Seth MacFarlane, Brody didn't like the joke. He recalled the story: "I walked up to him at a party 'cause I'd just seen 'Splice' and I thought it was awesome. I said, 'Hey I really liked 'Splice,' I hope there's no hard feelings.' And essentially the upshot was, 'Well, there are.'"
The band's bassist wasn't impressed. "I didn't think it was very good," Flea said. "...It wasn't that great. Yabba dabba do?"
'House of Cosbys' was low-budget cartoon by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. It was about a guy who creates a cloning device to make several copies of Bill Cosby.
Singer and comedian "Weird Al" Yankovic famously made a parody of the rapper's song 'Gangsta's Paradise' called 'Amish Paradise.'
"I think that my song was too serious," Coolio said. The rapper added that he didn't "appreciate him desecrating the song like that."
The daughter and advisor of then-President Donald Trump didn't like Scarlett Johansson playing her in the SNL parody 'Complicit.'
Her response was: "If being complicit is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact, then I'm complicit." But behind the scenes, Ivanka Trump was reportedly livid about it.
Arsenio Hall might be a comedian, but he didn't like the parody of 'The Arsenio Hall Show' made in the sketch comedy show 'In Living Color.'
Hall said the sketch "wasn't funny" and considered it a "vendetta" against him.
The actor was not happy with the way he and Scientology were portrayed in a 'South Park' episode.
Cruise reportedly refused to promote 'Mission Impossible 3' (2006) unless Comedy Central pulled a scheduled repeat broadcast of the episode. They did, but eventually the episode was later aired.
Carole Baskin's reaction to the sketch? "I could just slap that woman," she said.

'SNL' comedian Chloe Fineman mocked the Netflix docuseries 'Tiger King,' particularly Carole Baskin.
'SNL' had been poking fun at presidents for many years, and Trump was no exception. Though the then-president had enough of Alec Baldwin's impression of him.
Mark Wahlberg is yet another celeb who thinks 'SNL' went too far with their jokes. Particularly in an Andy Samberg sketch titled "Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals."
Trump took to Twitter to vent his frustration and wrote: "Nothing funny about tired 'Saturday Night Live' on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into."
"I didn't think it was as funny as I'd hoped," the actor told MTV News.
The former front man of the Smiths featured in 'The Simpsons.' But apparently he was not very happy about the way he was portrayed and made a statement on his Facebook page.
" [...] when a show stoops so low to use harshly hateful tactics like showing the Morrissey character with his belly hanging out of his shirt (when he has never looked like that at any point in his career) makes you wonder who the real hurtful, racist group is here. [...] calling the Morrissey character out for being a racist, without pointing out any specific instances, offers nothing. It only serves to insult the artist.
They should take that mirror and hold it up to themselves."
Following two movie flops in the mid '90s, David Spade made a joke about the actor on 'Saturday Night Live.' An image of Murphy appeared on the screen and Spade said, "Look children, it's a falling star, make a wish!"
Eddie Murphy got so offended that he didn't host SNL until 2019. "They said some s**tty things. What really irritated me about it at the time was that it was a career shot," he said in 2011.
The rapper is known for his peculiar personality, and, well, for taking himself a bit too seriously.
When 'South Park' made a joke about his ego, he made reference to it in one of his lyrics, saying he'd "choke a South Park writer with a fish stick."
But Penn didn't take the joke very lightly, saying: "It's all well to joke about me or whomever you choose. Not so well, to encourage irresponsibility that will ultimately lead to the disembowelment, mutilation, exploitation, and death of innocent people throughout the world." Ouch!
Outraged, he shouted from his seat and stormed on stage to slap Rock across the face. The audience was stunned and the moment was the most talked-about world event for weeks after. Smith was banned from the Oscars for 10 years as a result.
Being able to take a joke is an important quality to have in showbiz, but not every star seems to like being made fun of. While some celebrities don't mind getting roasted and indeed have a great sense of humor, others seem to take things a bit more personally. It is true that not all jokes are created equal, and perhaps some of the celebs in this gallery did have a reason to dislike certain things, but that's up for debate.
