The first sign of the zodiac, Aries people are fiery and passionate and they won't let you forget it. Sometimes that goes for their temper, too.

▲

Our Leo friends love the spotlight and they are full of main character energy. In the wrong light, they can sometimes come across as proud.

▲

Adventurous and fun-loving Sagittarius has a bit of a reputation as a commitment-phobe. Indeed, this sign doesn't seem to stay in one place long.

▲

Sociable and highly communicative, Geminis are sometimes considered to be hypocrites. Indeed, they do have a tendency to jump from one viewpoint to another.

▲

Libras sometimes get accused of being indecisive, because they are often found sitting on the fence. However, this isn't because they can't decide.

▲

The maverick of the zodiac, Aquarius has an unusual take on life. This sign is more able than others to take a step back and see clearly what is in front of them.

▲

With a reputation for being the crybaby of the zodiac, Cancer can be more emotional than the other signs. However, their strong feelings mean they are also loyal to a fault.

▲

People born under Scorpio are often considered prickly. Indeed, this sign is often the hardest to befriend.

▲

The creative daydreamer of the zodiac, Pisces can often seem a little lost. Much of the time our Pisces friends seem to have their heads in the clouds.

▲

A steady and grounded earth sign, Taurus babies can sometimes become too accustomed to their creature comforts and seem a little lazy.

▲

Virgo is a sign rooted in logic and analysis. People born under Virgo are often quite serious, and they are sometimes accused of being perfectionists.

▲

And finally Capricorn, the workaholic of the zodiac. Caps are often so ambitious that they can come across as distant, robotic even.

▲

Underneath the hard exterior, though, is a sensitive and caring person. The detached style is merely a defense mechanism against emotional attachment.

▲

If a Cancer is overreacting to a given situation, their explosiveness is a result of their inability to express the intensity of the emotions they are feeling.

▲

Their dreamy nature is not to be knocked. It serves as evidence that the child in them—the one that still believes in good—is still alive.

▲

More often than not, however, Taurus is observing and waiting for the right time to act. It's not laziness, so much as a conservation of energy.

▲

Rather, people born under Libra are always able to see everyone's standpoint, whatever the argument. They are aware there is no right answer to anything.

▲

If sometimes you find yourself offended by an Aquarius' aloofness, try to remember they are probably just looking at things analytically, rather than emotionally.

▲

This very well may be the case, but it's worth remembering that before a Virgo will criticize, they'll go over the situation hundreds of times in their own head.

▲

This is not Gemini being manipulative or hypocritical, however. Instead, they are demonstrating their ability to see and communicate multiple perspectives.

▲

If a seemingly arrogant Leo is winding you up, remember that in reality they only want to share the things that most excite them in life with you.

▲

The refusal of Sagittarius to commit should never be taken personally. Rather, it should be seen as a way for them to protect their sacred freedom.

▲

If you find yourself on the wrong end of an Aries temper tantrum, remind yourself that it won't last forever and there is definitely a good reason.

▲The intellectually curious air signs (Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius) are all about understanding and communicating with others, sometimes to a fault.
▲

The water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) are the most emotional of the bunch. They have a lot to bring to the table though, when their energy is harnessed correctly.

▲

Finally, the earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn). These guys are grounded and practical, although they're not always the easiest to get along with.

▲

Bold and brash, the fire signs (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius) are full of energy. They are great fun to be around, but sometimes their flames burn a little too bright.

▲

Try to remember that underneath the hard exterior is a softie who longs to feel supported. A little help will go a long way with a Capricorn.
