Fire signs -

Confident and charismatic, the fire signs (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius) are the show people of the zodiac. They are great fun to be around, but they can have fiery outbursts.

Aries (March 21–April 19) -

The bold first sign of the zodiac, Aries aligns best with the Queen. In Greek mythology, this archetype is represented by Hera.

The Queen -

Just like Aries babies, the Queen is assertive, confident, and a natural born leader. She can be prone to feel more than a little jealous, however.

Leo (July 23–August 22) -

The second fire sign, Leo, also has a lot in common with the Queen. This sign has real main character energy, and she is the most confident sign of the zodiac.

That said, Leos do tend to rely on external validation to keep their positive attitude up. Sort of like the way a Queen might rely on her King.

Sagittarius (November 22–December 21) -

Energetic and optimistic, Sagittarius has a lot in common with the Maiden. This archetype is represented by the Greek goddess Persephone.

Just like the Maiden, Sagittarius people tend to have a very innocent and optimistic perspective on life. This can leave them open to manipulation.

Air signs - The most sociable signs of the zodiac, the air signs (Gemini, Libra, and Sagittarius) are communicative and friendly. They are sometimes a little flaky, however.

Gemini (May 21–June 21) -

Gemini is a sign that aligns closely with the Lover. Represented by the Greek goddess Aphrodite, this sign is all about forging connections with others.

Both Geminis and Lovers are great communicators, and they get a real kick from building strong relationships with the people around them. They can sometimes lack focus, however.

Libra (September 23–October 23) -

Libra is the second sign that is closely associated with the Maiden. For this sign, however, the synergy is more to do with willingness to see the good in people.

Ever the diplomat, Libras can see both sides of every argument, and they love to keep the peace. Some might even accuse them of being passive at times.

Aquarius (January 20–February 18) -

Fiercely independent and uniquely creative, Aquarius is a clear Huntress. In Greek mythology, the goddess of the hunt is Artemis.

Just like the Huntress, Aquarians will chase after their dreams with complete abandon, and they will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.

Water signs -

The water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) are very sensitive and nurturing. They are usually introverted and are sometimes too driven by their emotions.

Cancer (June 22–July 22) -

Cancer joins Gemini as a sign best represented by the Lover. A sensitive and caring water sign, Cancer is very expressive with her emotions.

This emotional availability makes Cancer a great partner and friend, but it can mean she suffers from low self-esteem from time to time.

Scorpio (October 24–November 21) -

Just like their Aquarius friends, Scorpios have a lot in common with the Huntress. Their relentless pursuit of their dreams is only to be admired.

Focused and driven, this sign will often achieve great things. It sometimes comes at the expense of building healthy relationships, however.

Pisces (February 19–March 20) -

The old soul of the zodiac, Pisces is the only sign to align closely with the Mystic. In Greek mythology, the Mystic is represented by Hestia.

Just like Pisces, the Mystic is very introverted and spends a lot of time leaning into her spirituality. She can suffer sometimes from being emotionally frigid.

Earth signs -

And, finally, the earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn). Grounded and practical, these signs always have two feet on the ground. They are sometimes a little cold, however.

Taurus (April 20–May 20) -

Homely, grounded, and with strong caretaker instincts, Taurus is a clear Mother. In Greek mythology, the Mothers include Demeter and Gaia.

Just like the Mother, Taurus has strong nesting instincts and is great at taking care of others. Sometimes this can result in difficulty setting boundaries.

Virgo (August 23–September 22) -

Knowledgeable and disciplined, our Virgo friends often have a lot in common with The Sage. This archetype is embodied by the Greek goddess Athena.

The Sage -

Driven by a thirst for knowledge, as well as a desire to be careful and disciplined, Sages are not fond of anything frivolous. They can sometimes even be perceived as emotionally frigid.

Capricorn (December 22–January 19) -

And last but not least, Capricorn, which is also a clear Sage. Just like Virgos, Caps tend to be very strategic and disciplined in their thinking.

Much of the time, this means that Capricorns are very successful. They can struggle, however, to tap into their emotions.
