TRAVEL Travel

When it comes to traveling, it is inevitable that your real personality will come out. Between delayed flights, missed trains,
and trip days that can last more than 24 hours, it is always good to know both your travel partners and yourself well. Here is a list of traveling types that will define both the good and bad in everyone.

1. The Planner:
When you go on a trip, you always need a planner on your side. It is this person who will have pre-printed boarding passes, know what times are best to avoid museum lines, and have already scoured the restaurant scene on Yelp. While the planner is usually the MVP of the vacation, they often feel they are equal parts babysitter and travel companion.

2. The Risk-Taker
This personality type is usually the most fun in the bunch. Why walk around a city when you can skydive over it? Being the risk-taker means you add some adventure to the itinerary and make a vacation more memorable.

3. The Overpacker
When you have three suitcases for a two-week trip, you are the overpacker. There is almost certainly no way of wearing or using all of the accompanying items, but to you, options are vital. And when your travel partners don't pack enough socks, you will be their savior.

4. The Lounger
For this personality, vacation is all about rest and relaxation. When going on a tropical trip, skip the hike and lounge by the pool instead, leave the work for your hometown.

5. The Photographer
Every moment is a Kodak moment for the photographer of the group. Your travel mates will most likely hate the paparazzi treatment while it is happening, but will adore you afterward for having well-documented memories to look back at through the years.

6. The Perpetually Late
This personality type is the multiple alarm clocks, running to the gate, and numerous panicked phone calls person. Though this lateness may add some stress to the travel itinerary, it keeps things interesting. Good things come to those who are late, right?

7. The Snacker
This person always has hidden treats. When your stomach starts to rumble in the middle of a guided walking tour, the snacker will always come to the rescue.
