Shocking cases of celebs who were accused of murder
Rap pioneer The Kidd Creole convicted of first-degree manslaughter

Being rich and in the public eye does not prevent or protect celebrities from committing crimes. O.J. Simpson set a precedent when his trial received round-the-clock media coverage and his household name became notorious. But he's far from being the only celebrity to have been tried for murder.
The Kidd Creole, real name Nathaniel Glover, has been convicted in relation to the fatal stabbing of a homeless man in New York City in 2017. Glover, a pioneering rapper who was part of the group Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, was found guilty of first-degree manslaughter. Court documents say that Glover was walking through Manhattan on the way to his office just before midnight on Aug. 1, 2017, when the victim, John Jolly, stopped him to talk. The two exchanged words and Glover allegedly stabbed Jolly twice in the abdomen with a steak knife. He fled the scene and went to his office where he changed clothes and washed the knife. He then took the subway to the Bronx and tossed the knife into the sewer. It was later recovered by police.
In the meantime, Jolly was found by a group of tourists minutes after the stabbing and rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. Glover was subsequently arrested and confessed to police that he had stabbed Jolly in self-defense, as he believed the man was hitting on him. "Nathaniel Glover committed a shocking act of violence," commented Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. His sentence will be determined on May 4.
