It has been recently announced that 'Grease: Rydell High' will debut on the streaming service HBO Max.
The show will be set at Rydell High (the same high school attended by the characters from the original movie) in the 1950s, and according to HBO Max, covers "the peer pressures of high school, the horrors of puberty, and the rollercoaster of life in middle America with a modern sensibility that will bring it to life for today’s musical lovers.”
This is not the first show inspired by a movie, but it is certainly one we're excited about. In the meantime, why not revisit other films that inspired TV shows?
