Celebs reveal their biggest beauty regrets

Linda Evangelista opened up about her most disastrous beauty decision ever in 2021. The supermodel used to go for regular CoolSculpting appointments until it all went terribly wrong five years ago. CoolSculpting is a non-surgical fat reduction procedure that uses cold temperatures to reduce fat deposits in parts of the body. Evangelista had a rare and devastating reaction called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia that caused the fat deposits to increase in size rather than decrease. She says she has been left "unrecognizable," even after two corrective surgeries. The result was that she was "permanently deformed" and turned into a recluse.

Linda Evangelista - Evangelista is now speaking out to rid herself of the shame she has been feeling. She revealed that she initially starved herself after the procedure, hoping to make the fat deposits disappear. When she finally went to a doctor, he diagnosed her with paradoxical adipose hyperplasia and told her no amount of dieting would change her condition. She underwent two liposuction procedures, but they didn't help at all. Evangelista doesn't recognize herself when she looks in the mirror, “but I don’t recognize me as a person any longer either.” She says she can no longer live with the pain of hiding herself away. “I hope I can shed myself of some of the shame and help other people who are in the same situation as me,” she said. “That’s my goal.”

While some people are more concerned about their looks than others, most of us care about our appearance at least to some extent. When we find ourselves bored with our current appearance, many of us decide to try something a bit different. Sometimes those efforts are rewarded and we are happy with the outcome. Other times, however, those efforts go to waste and we end up looking worse than we did before!

British TV personality Sharon Osbourne revealed that she had a full facelift in October of 2021 and was horrified by the results. In an April interview with The Sunday Times, Osbourne says the surgery took five and a half hours and hurt like hell afterward, making the botched result even more distressing. She reportedly gave the surgeon some pretty candid feedback: "I'm like, ‘You've got to be f--king joking.' One eye was different to the other. I looked like a f--king Cyclops. I'm like, ‘All I need is a hunchback.'"

Osbourne said that her husband, the legendary rock star Ozzy Osbourne, promised to pay any amount of money to have the surgery corrected. However, she says her face is "settling now" and she's happier with the result.
