Addison Rae might be the bigger star, but her parents made a bigger scene. Rae's father Monty Lopez made a point to share on his Instagram Story that he is “unbothered” after his estranged wife Sheri Nicole Easterling made a surprising couple debut with rapper Yung Gravy at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. But that wasn't all he said.

“Thank you @younggravy for taking the leftovers,” Lopez captioned a shirtless selfie. “I would rather spend time with my daughter and 2 grandkids that Sheri Nicole made me abandon as a child in order to be with her,” he continued. It's unclear to whom Lopez was referring, as the public only knows he and Easterling share TikTok star Rae and sons Enzo and Lucas. “Never let a woman make you choose between her and or your blood child!” he concluded.

Kevin Federline made some bombshell claims about the two kids he shares with Britney Spears. Speaking to ITV News, excerpts of which were published by the Mail on Sunday, the singer's ex-husband said their sons Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline have not seen their mother for months and "have decided they are not seeing her right now," which included skipping her wedding.

Spears predictably fired back on Instagram Story on August 6: "It saddens me to hear that my ex husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children," she wrote. "As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone." She added, "It concerns me the fact that the reason is based on my Instagram ... it was LONG before Instagram ... I gave them everything ... Only one word: HURTFUL."

According to the news outlet, Federline in part cited Spears' censored naked Instagram posts as reasons for the boys' decision. Spears' new husband took specific issue with this and wrote on his Instagram Story August 6: "My wife has never posted a [naked] selfie except of her butt [which] is quite modest these days. All other posts were implied nudity [which] can be seen in any ad for lotion or soap." Asghari added, "There is no validity to his statement regarding the kids distancing themselves and it is irresponsible to make that statement publicly."

Then she continued, “Your ex did the same thing … he served with his first album using your name claiming you did him dirty !!!!" She is, of course, alluding to Timberlake's smash hit 'Cry Me A River,' which insinuated that Spears had cheated on him and led to people blaming her for their breakup, as well as the rest of his debut solo album 'Justified,' which featured several other references to her. The album launched Timberlake's successful solo career, meanwhile Spears got the brunt of the media criticism. Timberlake did apologize to her in a post in February 2021 after he admitted he “benefited from a system that condones misogyny.”

While the end of a romantic relationship doesn't have to be a messy and nasty experience, there are always some things we don't like about the other person. They're exes for a reason, right? Many celebs have have gone public on how they feel about their exes, either in interviews, songs, or through social media.

Shakira has been pretty clear how she feels about her ex Gerard Piqué after he allegedly cheated on her after being together for 11 years and sharing two kids. The former soccer player recently shared his thoughts on the criticism he's received since his split from the Colombian singer during an interview with Gerard Romero. “In the beginning, it was bad and it reached a point where if I had let things get to me, I would have thrown myself off a cliff,” he confessed in his native Spanish, reported by Page Six, adding that his nonchalant attitude saved his mental health as it prevented him from caring about others' opinions.

“For example, my ex is Latin American … you can’t imagine [the comments] I’ve gotten on social media from her fans. Millions of barbarities!” he told Romero. “But I don’t care about any of it. Honestly, not at all because I don’t know them. These people have no lives and why should I care? I’ll never meet them, they’re robots, you know?” He added, "They want you to worry and when you do, they would have won. You have to show them that you don’t care because it gets them angrier."

Many were quick to call Piqué, who is Spanish, out for xenophobia after he implied that Latin Americans are "barbarians" for criticizing him, and for specifically mentioning Latin Americans at all since Shakira has fans from all over the world. Even the Shakira herself responded, tweeting that she was “proud to be Latin American” along with dozens of Latin American flag emojis.
