Matthew McConaughey is taking on a new role: "professor of practice" at the University of Texas at Austin. This fall, the actor will be spotted at the Moody College of Communication as faculty in the Department of Radio-Television-Film. Prior to this announcement, McConaughey had been a visiting professor since 2015.
Indeed, few A-list actors have had a career like Matthew McConaughey's. The chameleonic actor got his start in the '90s, starring in the hit comedy 'Dazed and Confused.' After a few dramatic roles, the actor was typecast in many rom-coms, like 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.' After that, he returned to some defining dramatic roles, winning an Oscar in the process. But since then, he's also starred in some flops.
It's certainly been a career to look back on. Click ahead to see the many faces of Matthew McConaughey.
