'Roseanne' actor and Roseanne Barr's ex-husband, Tom Arnold, has responded to Katie Hopkins's attempts to comfort the recently cancelled sitcom actress.
After Roseanne caused outrage with racist comments about Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, US TV network ABC cancelled the recently rebooted 'Roseanne' and Viacom stopped screening reruns of the original sitcom. Outspoken reality TV contestant Katie Hopkins piped up to support Roseanne, tweeting "Dear @therealroseanne I have found the more I am fired, the busier I become. You are headed for greatness. Love Hopkins xx #standstrong" alongside two photos of herself.

Roseanne Barr's ex-husband, comedian, writer, and actor Tom Arnold took umbrage at the implication that Roseanne was anything other than great already and burned Hopkins.
Lady, I'm not even sure who you are or which picture is of you & I know you're trying to be nice but this tweet is going to bum the hell out of Roseanne because she already was great. Then she got fired so at the very least you could say she's re-headed for greatness or some shit

For her own part, Roseanne has expressed remorse about the now-deleted tweet that said “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj.”
hey guys, don't defend me, it's sweet of you 2 try, but...losing my show is 0 compared 2 being labelled a racist over one tweet-that I regret even more.
