Patrick J Adams, who plays Mike Ross in American legal drama ‘Suits,’ has announced his departure from the show. The actor will leave this year after the seventh season is released. This follows the high-profile departure of Meghan Markle, who will marry Prince Harry in May.
In a public statement, Adams explained: “I'm excited to now step across the screen and become solely a fan of the show.” The actor also joked around on Twitter, writing “Hey guys - I’m gonna head out and grab some milk.” Adams and Markle play leading roles on the show. They will both star in season seven, which will conclude their characters’ stories. The show's creators have confirmed that it will continue with a focus on other characters in season eight.
To catch Adams and Markle in action, mark your calendar for March 28. Meghan Markle announced her retirement from acting in November of last year, so this will likely be her last curtain call. Aside from her royal engagements, Markle plans to engage in more humanitarian work moving forward.
